Dear Mr. Frew: In reply to yours of the 28th ultimo, would say that I have been authorized by Mr. Garnegie to honor your calls to the extent of One Hundred Fifty Thousand ($150, 000.00) Dollars for erection of branch library building East End, Pittsburg. I shall take pleasure in remitting this amount in instalments as you require it from time to time to meet architect's estimates. Yours very truly, ] R.A.
